Widescreen Optimization

Post by WaeV »

*Reposted since the backup*

When Halo is played in widescreen, the hud and text is all stretched. What do you guys think about going in and shrinking the hud textures so that it looks normal while in widescreen?

Yelo battery (the first link) has an in-game option to make the hud fit the aspect ratio.

The first link is unrelated.

Hmmm... Yelo unstretches the HUD, but is there a way to get it to be flush with the side of the screen?

Default, which unstretches the HUD and leaves it in the center of the screen:

that would not work. since, the HUIS elements don't move, that is as far over as they can go through eschaton.

So would you have to resort to my original idea, stretching all the hud elements so that one side remains flush?
