Spec Ops Shotgun>> Finished.

Post by SCORPION-396 »

Here is the second skin I have made after I finished my H3 sniper rifle. I call it the Spec Ops shotgun almost similar in (improved) style as my H3 inspired Assault Rifle. I have been working on for almost a week, at least 3 hrs a day pondering & putting work in to it. I also made a few parts completely from scratch. As you can tell it is heavily influenced by Halo 3 with a few of my own touches. I also added a new texture for the flashlight part. It still needs a couple more things so ;basically, I am almost finished with it.
Pic (Mac Spark Edit does not produce a smooth render) >_<

Oh, & f you are wondering I have finished my H3 sniper rifle & will be updating that post later today.

Update: 5/7/08
Ok I finished it a few weeks ago, but did not get to test it until recently

That looks pretty good! A little pixelated, but I like it.

Looks good, but I think the bevels look ugly.

I did not say it was a h3 replica only h3 inspired.

It looks pretty good, however, I'm with Brightside. There's been a lot of H3 skins and models lately.

So are you.

I think that the skin looks nice. So what if it was Halo 3 inspired? As long as it looks good in the end, then that's great. Also, he mentioned it was a work in progress...

Witty comeback. This skin is great. If you don't like it, go away.

I wasn't trying to have a "witty comeback".

Why are you all the sudden having a grudge against me, I've done nothing to you. so just stop being a smart-ass to me every chance you get.

Why can't people just make a bunch of original ideas, such as a peanut butter shotgun.

They get good feedback, but they're silly to use. If somebody came up to you and said, "Wear this banana on your head; it looks cool", I'm sure you would rather wear a Halo 3 helmet. :|
Putting aside my useless analogy, it's a nice skin, and I don't see what there is to have against it. Please, insult again if you will. :P

Yes, now hold me. :P
I like the detail on the flashlight, but it's a bit pixelly above the trigger and behing the barrel.
