XSATA>Xport360 >Different Items

Post by Glitch101 »

Ok all, i have been looking around the modding scene for HALO, and have gone around getting some stuff ready for research- such as utilities etc.

Now as i didn't have an XSATA or an Xport360, i used my brain and attempted to use the official HDD Transfer Cable, so i plugged in my spare 20GB hard drive, and opened up the partitions and stuff in Xplorer 360, and to my surprise it worked, and i navigated and explored the Partition 3. Unfortunately there was no Files related to HALO or any games, on the HD, due to me transferring it previously to my 120, so i hastily plugged in the 120 yet i didnt come to the same success; it would appear the cable dosent allow you to view the partitions the same as the 20GB. Im sure the reason for this is because the Cable was made for transferring a 20GB HD files, not a 120GB.

Anyway after the boring long read above i just wanted to quickyl say if you have a 20GB Harddrive, in use, you can use this Cable instead of an XSATA, or Xport360> incase you didnt know?

lol

thanks :D

It wouldn't be the cable(I'm surprised it worked) its Xplorer360 that doesnt properly support 120GB HDD's.

Try looking for the modified version with support for 120 HDD's ;)

I'm glad I'm helping out around here. :) I had trouble with this too and I was really happy when I finally found a working Xplorer.

I assume you mean 120GB.
The XSATA cable works, Xplorer360 does not. You need the version made for the 120GB hard drive.
