I dropped my phone and now every other horizontal line of pixels is white.

I can still live with it though, I don't really look at pictures or video on the tiny thing anyway.

damn gmail wont load up, it get stucks on the loading screen.... and actually makes internet explorer not work at all.

COBOL is annoying me. The program I have to write would have taken a lot less time if I just used C++ and it would have taken up much less space. I would have finished it ages ago, all this new syntax and stuff.

Seriously, why Would I want to do this:

MULTIPLY InchIn BY 0.3937 GIVING Result,

When I could just do this:

Code: Select all

result = inchIn * 0.3937;

I'm using a pretty silly example here, but everything is so verbose and elongated!

and rather than doing char or int or whatever its PIC X (for alpha) or PIC 9 (for numeric)... On top of that, I have to have an X or 9 for every space I need for it...

eg
for me to be able to store "hello" in the variable YouSuck I would have to go:
YouSuck PIC XXXXX.

Anything over the 5 X's won't be accepted.
