I'm new to this site, and kinda modding, but I still fairly suck. Can someone help me make a first mod?

As for your question, there are many tutorials in the Tutorials section, just try going through and try some out.

It's still a hilarious quote in my opinion.

but in order for you to start creating mods you can't just expect to get people to show you how to mod, ESPECIALLY if you're so non-specific like this.

You gotta picture something cool you would like to add to your halo game and when you have that envisioned you search around and learn the elements necessary to create your mod.

and just mess around in hmt, it's pretty easy to figure out after awhile if you start pushing buttons and stuff.
