Girl Dies Because Parents Did Not Seek Help
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,341574,00.html
The girl in the story died because she was sick from diabetes. The parents, instead of going to the hospital after a week or two, just kept praying.
I understand if you think it is the flu, but by the 2 week don't you think any person would take her to the hospital? I don't care if the parents are religious , but there needs to be a line between hope and action. I'm just afraid for the kids that are still in their custody.

Religion itself is pretty ironic. Religion creates more controversy and conflict than it does hope and comfort.

Ah, I see. So, indirect murder does not count as abuse?FOX wrote:The girl has three siblings, ranging in age from 13 to 16, the police chief said.
"They are still in the home," he said. "There is no reason to remove them. There is no abuse or signs of abuse that we can see."
Yeah, because that happens all the timeFOX wrote:The mother believes the girl could still be resurrected, the police chief said.

I don't believe in religion for this reason. Because it is pretty much teaching people how to put their heads up their asses and not know when not taking someone to the doctor's after a week of her being sick. And then on top of that the parents said they should have prayed more. Now thats just the dumbest thing I have ever heard. Take her to the doctors then pray.
Man, I Love Tural.
You can't say that, because I'm a Christian and I go to the Doctor regularly. Just because the lunatics didn't take her, doesn't mean all of us don't have common sense.StinkyDiaper wrote:I don't believe in religion for this reason. Be friendly.

This is unbelievable. The fact that you would choose to turn your head and say "LALALA", while your own child is dying, is beyond belief. The fact that they still denied their child medical treatment, even though there is irrefutable evidence that people who take insulin usually live, while people who don't tend to die, is disgusting.
What would cause parents to gamble with their child's life, no matter how slim they thought the chances of death were?
