The Official Rant Thread
I was supposed to start training today for work, but I've had strep throat for the past 4 days, and I recently just lost my voice.. I need to call in sick, but when I talk it's a slight whisper, if even that, and I can't have anyone do it for me because everyone's asleep :\ I've got till 4 though, so hopefully everyone gets up by then.

Kibitio, the same shit happened with my brothers ex-girlfriend. Same exact fucking thing. Calling non-stop, sending text messages, calling other people to get to him. That really sucks, girls are fucking crazy.
Can't really offer any advice because my brother ended up getting back with her, so...maybe try talking everything out with her? Explaining everything that is going on with you, how its affecting you, what she's doing. She may be too psycho to understand it and let it really soak in but it's worth a shot. If not, then yeah, call the police on that psycho bitch.

It's a little more polite than saying "grow up" or "grow a pair", which I wanted to say...what else do you want me to say? My advice is that he takes charge of the situation like a man should instead of taking her crap and turning off his phone, avoiding her, etc.Dissolution241 wrote:Nothing against you GTAF, but I *** hate when people say "Man up". Speaking of annoying phrases, I hate when people say "Talking shit."Dissolution241 wrote:Nothing against you GTAF, but I *** hate when people say "Man up". Rant: I have a cold, and Thursday needs to come faster.
Just for reference here...have you had a girl like this or are you basing what i should do on what you might do given the situation? It's a little more difficult. If I say "fuck off and leave me alone"....to a woman that's "I should bug the shit out of him more"... Any semi-experienced guy would know that. I've talked this over a few times with a couple people and I think I know what needs to be done. It's just piss poor she's making it end this way. Such a messed up situation for both of us. It's her fault though...We all know it whether it be the net or reality.GametagAeonFlux wrote:It's a little more polite than saying "grow up" or "grow a pair", which I wanted to say...what else do you want me to say? Maybe if said person possesses some sort of mental disability that impairs their ability to understand basic human emotions and intentions. If that is not the case, you are merely applying a gross, inaccurate overgeneralization to a specific situation.kibito87 wrote:If I say "*** off and leave me alone"....to a woman that's "I should bug the **** out of him more"

It doesn't sound like you've been in a long term serious relationship. It's not an inaccurate overgeneralization to a specific situation. I'm damn sure it's happened to many guys maybe not here specifically but it has. It's a hypothetical situation that can be tied in with experience.Tural wrote:If that is not the case, you are merely applying a gross, inaccurate overgeneralization to a specific situation.

Not giving me much of a choice what with your assumption of my personal life directly after your question, but I appreciate the effort. If you said that to a woman, she should know that means "leave me alone". What you have on your hands, however, is a bitch. There's a difference between bitches and women, and it's fairly obvious she is the former. If you just tell her off in an authoritative manner then she should get the message. If she keeps bothering you, it's because she knows you're weak and that you're just going to roll over and take it.kibito87 wrote:Just for reference here...have you had a girl like this or are you basing what i should do on what you might do given the situation?
