Lightmaps Question

Where can I edit the lightmaps. I'm working on a danger canyon mod and for it I need to make it dark and I know I have to edit the lightmaps but where are they can someone please direct me to them.

yo..

If you go into hmt, and load your map (in your case, danger canyon) go to the [bitm]bitmap tag, open it and select... levels\test\dangercanyon\dangercanyon
On the right you will see 24 different textures, select and press "Save texture" for each individual one. You then take these textures, and edit each of them in Photoshop. You will need the .dds plugin so that Ps can read the format.

you are talking about bitmaps not lightmaps. he is asking about lightmaps. you are telling him how to skin.

Lightmaps ARE bitmaps. (at least in halo)

The ryan dude is absolutely correct.

wait, they are stored in the same area as the bitmaps?
