Pretty good. I just use Paragon Partition Manager since it can do a lot of other specific tasks, but this tutorial should be useful for those who just want a straight partition.

...I know that partition manager...But I don't see your argument right...

What your saying is that since ubuntu has an inbuilt partition manager, windows having an inbuilt one is sleep inducing?

I actually didn't know of this method of partitioning, I only knew of the CMD version or the install disk version for windows. So good work...Its not very visually appealing though...Not that it needs to be

Congratulations, I guess you missed the point.

Creating new partitions...that can be done on Windows since 3.1...the thing is creating new partitions with Windows is pretty much senseless. Why? Well, most of the people want to create a new partition for a new OS...the thing is about 99% of the people don't know that the boot sector when you install XP is always going to be installed on HDD (0) Partition (0) regardless on which partition you install XP on.

So if you want to use this method to fuck your whole computer up, well go ahead. The Ubuntu or any other partition manager have boot sector control and can assist you in doing the things you want to achieve, like installing a new OS correctly.

Not really on-topic but I don't like your posting style anyway. You take everything way to serious and it seems to me that every post of yours has no other purpose than offense (Congratulations.) other people, regardless how your post might follow the rules or seem constructive.

Also, see the irony?

Was that so hard to do in the first place? It was a mere few sentences to properly contribute to the topic, and I thank you for doing so in the more intelligible manner now. All your first post was was a promotion of an alternative system, not in any way relevant to his tutorial. That would be equivalent to going into an XP vs. Vista thread and telling people to get a Mac. Yeah, it's relevant to the issue, but it has nothing to do with the topic, and it clearly not the intended result of the creator. It would simply be a way for you to push your own agenda. If you want to suggest an alternative like you are, do it in a logical manner, as your latter post did. Also, my post was not ironic. Holding people to a quality of avoiding uselessness on the forum, especially as staff, is not subject to being ridiculed as off-topic. Would you rather I have just deleted your post? I think not. The only irony that can be drawn is from a complete literal interpretation that ignores any logic in the conversation. You can't base irony on a future event. You can't say it's ironic now, after you've responded, thus making it ironic. You'd be requiring me to see into the future to combat that. That doesn't make any sense. You say I missed the point, but considering the point you explained wasn't explained in your post in the first place, I can't imagine you'd expect me to get the point. I wasn't aware I was expected to understand your full reasoning for something when you don't give any at all. I guess having no explanation is the same as having a full one, and thus it is reasonable to draw explanations from non-existence. On a side note, don't turn it into a personal attack. My comment was about your post. Your comments were an attack on my character.

tl;dr: You knew what the topic was asking. If you want to post something like that, give a reasonable explanation, so you do not come off as just an arrogant person pushing their OS agenda. You did so now, and you have proven yourself capable of doing so, please do so in the future, to avoid such conflicts again. It obviously wasn't hard to explain yourself, and being more knowledgeable on a subject than the tutorial's author is no reason to talk down to them about an alternative. Proposing a reason for doing so is fine, but just saying your solution is better doesn't accomplish anything.

That all being said, considering I'm telling you that you are right now, I expect you will not continue to fight over something so insignificant, especially when have already achieved the end result, being correct.
