Yeah I checked into that the problem seems to be caused by a reflex that has an extra chunk reference that does not point to any meta. I cant really fix it since its a problem with the maps themselves, but I could add something to catch the error an avoid a crash.
If it's just a reference with an extra reference chunk, shouldn't you just be able to make it so it doesn't load that specific reference? Try to see if you can make it so that the program checks if the reference points to the meta, and if it doesn't, then just skip that reference.

i got this error message when i tried to open up zanzibar: Could not find your map image directory! This is where we are looking: (then the location of the file)

There is an error showing up every time i want to open a map, "Could not find map image in the directory" help me plz

Wow.
Go to Tools then Settings and set the map folder option to the location of the folder on your computer that you store your maps in. Then make sure you have the images folder from the halo 3 disc in that folder.

Engineer.exe - Application Error

When i try to open the engineer program, it comes up with this screen that says Engineer.exe - Application Error

The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000135). Click on OK to terminate the application.

What do i do?

Make sure your running the latest version of the .net framework.

Senor_Grunt: Okay, so, I was playing CoD4 earlier, and about 30 minutes into playing, the screen went black, then flashed, then the 360 gave me red rings. Only, they weren't rings, they were half of the ring. Like, only two of the controller light thingies were light up red. WTF does this mean? Like seriously. My 360 still works, but it does that like once every week at the least, and it's getting annoying getting to round 16 in the zombie mode for CoD5 (so totally not bragging ), then suddenly blacking out. :[

Hey, me again, how do i get a map on to engineer so i can edit it, cos wen i go open map, there aint any there.

You have to get it from your xbox.

ok, where would i look on the site to find wat i need, cos i cant find it

Hey, would it work if some1 just uploaded the maps on to this with the links and then we could download the maps, so we all could use the engineer program?
