Yeah well Shipping up to Boston was in the Departed soundtrack, so that's probably why.

I met Dropkick Murphys, they played a big concert in my town with a couple of other Boston bands.

Anyone know what happened in March 1967 that has to do with music and I celebrated for yesterday?

I'll give a hint, it has to do with Hendrix.

IMO, these songs are the most epic songs I've heard:

From the Inside.
Papercut.
Somewhere I Belong.

All by Linkin Park, but you knew that, of course. :P

Good songs, I wouldn't say they're epic though.

Any heard of the Vitamin String Quartet? They make a bunch of classical cover albums of different bands. Basically for any mainstream band/artist you might be able to think of off the top of your head, there's a large chance they've made an album of their music. They also include original compositions in their albums, so it's not just 100% covers.

Pretty sure all of their albums are on iTunes, if anyone wants to listen to the previews.

I just noticed something. The light cymbals in Wake by Linkin Park seem to start over every second. Listen closely and it's like a sound clip that just starts over every second, the whole song.

Calling Dragonforce metal is like using a mini cooper as a tank.

It's just not right :S

Bad music

or pop rock. Just because it's fast doesn't make it metal at all.

I'm not much of a fan of Dragonforce (I do like a few songs), but they're definitely not pop rock.

Idk what they are, but they're definitely not metal. They're just insane asians who show off with their guitars too much IMO.

Dragonforce doesn't put enough soul into their music, all they do is play as many notes as possible in as little lime as possible. A wise man once told me, it's not how many notes you play, but how you play the notes.

I wouldn't call Dragonforce metal either, I will admit that their guitarists are talented as fuck though.

I believe you're speaking of Insasians.
I don't care what kind of music it is, as long as I like the way it sounds.
