Philly wrote:Mythic creatures? I'm going to side with JK, there are plenty of places on Earth that man has never been to, never mind explored the life.
Mythic creatures here implies creatures that have been seen but not proven, such as the above examples. For them to be considered in this category, it is a requirement that people have been there. Undiscovered species is not what this question is asking. It is referring to well-known creatures people claim to have seen, usually in fairly explored areas, but there is no evidence for.

Aliens also must be more specific, do you mean life in general outside of earths atmosphere? Or thinking breathing life forms such as ourselves. Either way aliens have to be 100%, "Life" has already been discovered on other planets (mars I believe) and the universe is so huge it is pretty hard to believe we are the only intelligent life forms.

Bigfoot types: 10%, I suppose there are species we haven't found yet, but crap like Bigfoot doesn't seem likely to me.
In the terms as Bigfoot being the "missing link" I agree, but with all the mutations we see in the world today I fail to see how it's hard to believe a hairy mutated human or animal could exist. (When I say mutated I also mean deformed, or diseased).

I believe Ghosts to be a placeholder just like Religion was (and still is somewhat ;_; ): Good enough until the actual truth is discovered and understood.. Other intelligent lifeforms on other planets has to be true!.. Just because it's cool.. Mythic creatures though.. not sure. Hopefully they're not though, as the majority of them are not very nice lookin'.

Ghosts - In terms of floating translucent beings that like to scare people, no. In terms of say, "Guardian angels," or stuff like that... then it's a maybe. I like to think that old family members' spirits are watching over me.

Aliens - If this is considered extraterrestrial life, then Yes. I do, 100% believe this. As someone has already stated, Earth being the only planet to contain life is extremely low, seeing as the universe is enormous.

Mythic Creatures - I'm not entirely sure about this one. I'll base it off of Tural's definition post, though. I think that... it's possible that in the extreme undiscovered depths of the ocean, it is possible that a creature such as the lochness monster could exist.

It's not a really big deal but a few years back my cat died during a weekend night. My parents woke me up to let me know what had happened, that he had died and that they were going to take him to the vet. He was laying in a laundry basket on top of several towels.

Anyways, not long after they left I ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room which is parallel to the kitchen where I last saw him (not that that is relevant). About five minutes after their departure I started hearing some dull thumping sounds in the kitchen like a somewhat heavy object being dropped on the floor. Because of my age and my mentality at the time, I was a little scared. A few seconds more and the thumps continued and I started to hear a meow which was actually very fucking loud.

At this time we did not have another cat and those sounds were definitely fucking coming from the kitchen. My cats body was far away by this point so I believe that there was some kind of activity going on in there. Eventually, the noises went away (lasted for several minutes) so from that day I have been convinced that there is some kind of activity that takes place after death.

I did not see anything, only heard those strange noises (as I was turned over and pretending to be asleep/desperately trying to). I don't know if it was a 'Ghost' or a 'Spirit' (depends how you define that) or what. What I really like about this is that it took place with an animal and not a human. Like I said, not that big of a deal or good of a story, but this has led me to my beliefs.

There was a cat trapped under our house a few months ago, meowing loudly. Maybe you should take a look.

I believe in Ghost, and Aliens, but not mythical creatures. Unless it's like a DNA mix up type what ever.

Recently, a microscopic life form has been detected on Mars. So,

ALIENS - 100%

All people have been givin a soul by God as a chance to go to heaven if you beleive in God. If you realy make a deal with Satan and want to live forever, your physical body will die, and the soul will not go to heaven due to trusting Satan, and by Satan, you will not go to Hell, so

GHOSTS - 100%

Mythical creatures, like Bigfoot, El Chupacabra, elves, and green people named fred have not been mentioned in the Bible. All animals that God made are mentioned in the Bible. So,

MYTHICAL CREATURES - 0%

Ghosts are a really hard thing to actually believe in, unless you have a personal paranormal experience. Like Dissolution had. I had a couple when I was little, at my grandma's house.

Check this. I'm 15 years old, and I've never done drugs. I don't take any medications of any sort and I haven't been sick in a very long while.

I don't have any mental problems, or anything of the sort.

Anyways, I was playing in my great Grandmother's yard when I had to urinate. So, I asked my great Grandmother if she had the key to her house (She locks it for unknown reasons). She said yes, so I started towards the house. (Keep in mind that there's only 3 people at her house. Me, My sister and her. Which both of them were still outside playing and I was heading inside.) Once inside the house, I heard something fall. I figured something had done just that; fell. However, I went to pee and when I got done, I opened the door to go back into the hallway. What I saw freaked me out.

Right when you open the door, there is a hallway straight in front of you and slightly to the right there is a door that leads to the basement. When I opened the door, the door handle jiggled extremely fast and was like a little kid throwing a tantrum. It stopped. Then the door flew open.

As soon as it flew open, I ran down the hallway, ran outside and haven't been back since.

Today makes 4 days that I haven't been there.

I believe ghosts are real, cuz B4, my granny had a dream that she was hit by a car for a week. In real life, the same position, she pulled over, and a speeding car went passed where she was.

What does impeccable mean?

EDIT: Never mind, thanks for the complement Ombre!

Why are you classifying aliens as animals, we have no proof as to whether they are animals, or beings with a structure such as ours. They are not animals, nor humans, but things. :]

Whoosh.

Blarg-Blarg-Blarg!, keep religion out of here. I don't think you could have shoved more religious views into your post if you had typed out the entire Bible. The first post clearly alludes to not using religion in this discussion. I can't help but point out how horribly, unbelievably wrong you are though.

You are stating, or you believe that, God created all creatures on Earth.
You state every single creature God created is directly mentioned, by name, in the Bible.
That is a blatant lie, in every way, shape, and form.
You would be suggesting that God did not create many of the animals found on the planet, which goes against your views.
You have created a logical paradox through use of ignorant, warped, nonsensical religious views. How expected.
