3dsmax 6 question..

Post by gecko753 »

im working on making a map with 3dsmax 6 and later ill try it on version 4 or 5 if i ever get it, but ive got a slight problem.
im applying images to my box looking level. im in the level creation part 1 in the tut. in the pics it shows the map image
applied on the ground and the sky applied to the walls. i followed the tut perfectly but the images dont show up. i havent
tried finishing it cuz idk if its a waste if this wonk work.

heres a pic of what im talkin about... it shows the ground and such, but mine is just a plain box.. not even the sky color

Yeah you probably forgot to push the "show material in viewport" button (the one described above) at the right places where it says to in the tutorial - check back and see if you did that correctly

ha y would u do that? that just makes the render in the screen either perspective, top, left, etc. thats not going to fix ur problem sorry, u might need to go to ur modifier list and add a uvw to it. try that.
