I'm not sure what the correct procedure for modding your Xbox is(It's been awhile since I did mine), but for softmodding it, I'm pretty sure you don't need a cord.

Well actually if you want to do anything you do need a ethernet cable going from your xbox to your modem/router so you can FTP files back and forth.

Oh well, yeah, Pyroman31. That's for FTPing Maps. But I think he's talking about modding his Xbox. For that certain process, you don't need one.

( I think )

Nice tutorial...just scroll down alittle...Search next time man and you would of found it yourself.

You can get ethernet cables from damn near any electronic store bro. Ranges in lengths and is pretty cheap.

You cannot mod Halo 2 on a 360...

Anyone wanna confirm that?
Or refute it...

You can mod the DLC, but we're not discussing that. You could mod the firmware and burn H2 discs with mods on them to play.

You can't really mod much with an Xbox 360.

If you want to mod, your best bet would be Halo 2 on an original Xbox. Or alternately you could try modding PC, you wouldn't have to go out and buy cables and such.

Approximately three people on Earth, at the moment, as far as I know, have the access to the tools needed to mod Halo 3. They are not open to the public.
