can somone help me with paint.net? you know in photoshop where you are able to edit the bitmap with alpha channel? I want to know how to edit the alpha channel with the normal channel(I guess thats what you call it). I use DXTBMP for sending it to paint.net. And I dont get the option in the layers to edit the bitmap!
Is there a way to edit it within paint.net???

I have tried. When I inject into the game the alpha is still the same. Is there a tutorial on this? This is a Tut>>> http://forums.halomods.com/viewtopic.php?t=72818.
I used it to understand the little program when first started using it. When I inject the file into halo, then extract back out it comes out with the normal alpha mask. Is guess I mean to ask if there is a way to not use the program if its not working for me, and strickly use paint.net. If somebody has had a similar problem please point out my problem! I could be not understanding how DXDBMP works. I dont see the difference between alpha and normal because its sending to you prefered paint program the same way, alpha/normal. Did I give enough info? can someone help?
