Ah, there's nothing like blasting:

Bro Hymn Tribute - Pennywise

and

Doomsayer - Darkest Hour

through some surround sound speakers while no one's home. :]

Streetlight Manifesto is playing ~15 minutes away from me March 30th, and I'm probably attending.

Anyone have any songs that they consider... inspirational? Like, can anyone recommend a song that sorta' gets you motivated to do something?

Comfortably Numb by Pink Floyd inspired me to play guitar. And I like to listen to Rock You Like a Hurricane before soccer games to get pumped.

It's in the same vein, so I guess it applies...Good Thing by Reel Big Fish and Scatman's World by Scatman John make me really happy and make me just want to make other people happy. :P

Much appreciated, but it appears as though the "inspirational" genre is one that's based on one's taste in music.

Good thing was pretty cool though. Not exactly inspirational but it did make me happy :D

One of these songs motivate you to grow a beard. The other motivates you to break your CPU.

They need to stop playing now. As much as I missed them, if they are going to start producing stuff like this, then I gotta say they need to just die out respectfully and not play anymore... Or at least get better. They always evolve to the current music theme, hence the reason they sound so different in every album.. But they shouldn't have evolved to todays music, because generally, todays music is bad. Same deal with Nine Inch Nails. Year Zero is nothing compared to their old stuff.

Smashing Pumpkin's new album Zeitgeist is ok, but I can't listen to it after listening to their old stuff.

While at the Hard Rock cafe in Nassau, Bahamas (it's my first time to HRC and it owns btw), I heard Somebody Told Me by The Killers, and I really liked it. I know it's really old and all but I never really liked it or knew the name of the song or artist till then.

I saw them in a concert a really long time ago (like, before they even released their first CD)...they put on a really awesome live show if you ever get the chance to see them.

Reminds me of The Departed which, by the way, kicked ass.
