In multiplayer, I'm replacing the smg with the tmp from Resident Evil 4. I replaced the texture with the new one in dothalo, but in the game, it showed the original smg texture. Then I used uber bitmap tool, and now it's just a bunch of black dot things. Do I need to rename the texture to the original smg texture name, and change it in milkshape? It's not the size or anything, I fixed that.
(I already injected the new model, that works fine)

Replacing weapon textures?

From what I can make of your post, you replaced the smg's texture with whatever weapon you are trying to put in it's place. Now, correct me if i'm wrong but you only replaced the bitmap and not the model. Or atleast, that's what i'm getting from your post.
If what I said is true, then you would need to inject the "tmp from re4", over the smg's model.

I replaced the bitmap and the model. I can see the model fine, it's just the bitmap that is screwed up.kibito87 wrote:From what I can make of your post, you replaced the smg's texture with whatever weapon you are trying to put in it's place. I edited the first post to make more sense, I was in a hurry when I posted it.
