Yeah thats him. He's on probation for 5 years. Err, still is. I can't remember when it started. But he was here!? And I missed it?! Cool dude, good to hear they made it big.Senor_Grunt wrote:Situations - Escape the Fate.

In Flames - Take this Life.
I just got Guitar Hero 3, I got this song from the store, and Now I love it.
For the record, I knew about them before.

No offense to you, but I just can't stand songs like that.... #1, he sounded so much better when he wasn't screaming, which was 1% of the song, #2, it just seemed way too emo to me, they're all committing suicide or something, #3, I just hate that kind of musicJunkfoodMan wrote:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ul-hqg_iPo

You know, I was thinking, someone should start an online music discovery service. But not like the current ones. You'd create a profile, put in all your favorite artists/songs, and it'll find users with the same artists/songs as you. Then you can look at their full list of favorite artists, and find out what artists you'd most likely enjoy. It's different from Pandora, Slacker, etc. because those use machines to find music that you'd probably like, which as we all know is not very effective. Finding real-life people who like some of the same artists as you, and then some, could help you find artists suited for you through human preferences, not computer-powered search engines or whatever.

I never said Metal was Emo, I said I was tired of Metal and Screamo. I should have said they don't sound appealing at all, but I still don't see how you could interpret that as me saying they are one and the same. The second part of my comment was based on a generalization directed towards Metal. I've heard a lot of Metal music, (not sure what you classify Metal as), and quite frankly all the songs sound the same. While I can appreciate the instrumental work and energy they put forth, they just fail to satisfy, and get old rather quick.Ombre wrote:I'm so tired of hearing Metal and Screamo. I see what you mean and I apologize for what I said. I find that with some bands but things stay pretty fresh for me. Hate screamo, hate emo, hate death metal/black metal. Machine Head is pure metal. Their songs are fairly complex and very well structured (especially considering the complexity of most metal songs these days), no pure screaming, and they have a lot of meaning.

I'm in love with this album. There's a little bit of profanity.
