Skinning Question

i am sorry if this sounds like a n00b question, but how do u input pictures to make really cool skins and stuff? i am really sorry if this is a repost and if you could please answer it instead of getting angry or at least give me a link to where i can go read about how to do this. thanx.

Thanx, but that still doesn't answer my question. I wanted to know how all of you other grat skinners out there make your skins so good, it look picture perfect. I just wanna know how you do that, cause i know how to change the colors and stuff of a tank. Oh, ya i have another question how do you chain spawn or whatever it is called? Please answer my questions, and thank you.

the chain spawning is in the tutorials or tutorail subisions section. Also, the really good skins take a really long time. You have to figure out where everyting is on the bitmap and u change it as wanted. the big thing in skinning is a great idea.

Now, if ur a super noob at skinning u just gotta learn photoshop. U can use filters, color balance, paintbrush, etc. in PS.
