bcnipod, are you purposibly trying to start a fight?

i said keyes. not his uniform. look at keyes twit. his face.it seems like the only time you speak these days is to call someone out or trying to instigate something. why would i say i did keyes uniform when its in the dx release. and i even said from the beginning that dx and halo2rules packs were used in this.

gfg, grow up and release something besides scenery removal and meta swaps...

i can see your side but now try to see mine..

ever since the pepness finale ive always gave credit to the people who did DX and halo2rules for their textures borrowed. i even went and asked permission to do so. hell, i even had a convo about it in the finale thread with silent knight, the person who released DX to halomods.

now we fast forward to when i was looking for people to beta redux. i asked bcnipod if he wanted to and he agreed to test it. we exchanged xfires and became cool friends. he gave feedback and i tried to make the mod the best i could on PC and MAC ends cause he is a MAC user.

now after redux was released all credits were given and it was nothing vague on them. i made a entire paragraph citing where what came from what such. even during the WIP thread i posted my progress on things to show people what i was doing and keeping them informed.

now we come to this moment..

a person i thought was a modding friend is trying to accuse me of "stealing" someone elses work in public. they didnt have the decency to even ask me about it or say anything.. they flat out just posted "i said i made this and that", knowing full well anyone could download DX or get a copy of it and see that i didnt.

so why would i get that upset? cause i had someone who i thought was a modding friend that like to help turn on me like dime just to try to get some crap started over some textures when i already had full permission to use thoes textures in the first place. basically i feel like i was stabbed in the back so they could boost their own self being.

honestly its petty and childish. so i removed him off my xfire since he wants to act that way and ill continue to keep modding. you asked "did i need to get that angry?"... honestly.. i dont think i was angry enough.

im going to be out right honest with you..

i dont want your apology. you want to make it up to people if you think your in the wrong? then encourage modding in halopc. help people. give tuts. sure we all need to rate peoples work but also show them a door to make what they have done better. i come off a little brash sometimes but its to see if it drives someone to do something better or if they will crumble and fall. im basically doing what iron forge did to me in a different thread. he tore me a new one, beat me down and left me for dead..

its how you recover from that that makes you better.

if you feel this way then do what i did. ill give you a little motto to go by..

i removed the link to the project finale cause i was doing redux and didnt want anyone to have something i considered subpar from finale vs. redux. i guess i jjust havent changed the menubar to reflect that but i just did now. when i was doing redux alot of people were picking up the finale and it just didnt sit right with me offering people something i knew wasnt even close to what i was working on with redux.

a few weeks ago i was going to add redux to our website but after some comments on redux being a "skin" mod i decided to overhaul redux now and do some PMI work in it and try to take redux to the next level like i did with the finale going to redux.

thanks for the comments on our sites page. tbh it took us about 4 days to do all that and we havent touched that site in about a month now. it needs some updating prolly but meh.. its more for showing people what we can do in web design then actually having a full function.

sorry your thread here has had some potholes laid in it with people trying to prove some fairy tail of me trying to rip and credit you guys work as my own. but then again me and you had this discussion before in the finale thread.

besides.. like you and your partners have said to which i agree with.. "cool! someone finished DX".

some people dont get it and im glad you do. all that matters to me.
