I'd like a serious discussion about it, all the cheating website can ever tell you is "cr4nk 7h1s up 70 200000, 7ha7 7o 10800000 and that to....." whatever
firstly (correct me if I'm wrong) definitions
Auto Aim = bullets will home in towards players if pointed in their vague direction
magnetism = a player reticule will track any player that is near
questions?
1 does the ignored by AA bitmask in biped work
2 can you AA towards things other than players, like live grenades explosive blocs? if so how?
3 Is how the needler/ locked on RL works AA?
4 magnetism what can you magnetize to? player bloc proj?
5 can you turn it (mag) off for say players but leave it on for proj
Again I stat this is not to used for cheating I am trying to develop a weapon that spawns an explosive on one trigger and the second trigger detonates it I have tried a few ways to make this (larger coll-never works, secondary trigger proj has large blast area/low damage- good but not prefect) I would like to explore this means too because I thik AA'ing on to explosive may give my weapon the right feel, point (sorta)pull boom

Based on their names, I would say that's the opposite. I don't know that it's accurate, but in naming, logically Aim would dictate your ability to follow a player, where as Magnetism would dictate the bullet's tendency to move towards a player.bumlove wrote:firstly (correct me if I'm wrong) definitions

I know where you are coming from Tural, but from my days back in Halo 2:CE I'm pretty sure he had it right. obviously nobody wishes to talk about this in the open, what I am wanting is for the pp regular shot to home in to a duplicate proj grenade, this from what I have tried is not achievable with run of the mill AA, I think there must be some property that MC and Elites have that proj grenades do not,
if anyone could offer advice or ideas how to achieve my goal please PM me or leave a message here

I can help u if u use DotHalo to do this but let me get this straight Auto Aim = follow a person and in the tag editor window when editing a [proj] tag it is homing/turnability that has to do with how sharp an object can turn so the default pp charged value of 1.396263 as we know turns at a very slight angle. if u increase this homing u of course could make it turn on the spot. When editing a [weap] tag u can edit auto aim. Hope this helps and if im wrong plz correct me but i think i got it....i hope...

thanks for the advice Redfox I have the concept of AA down (first time ever I was on the firing side of aa <not on line of course>)
I need to find the difference between what makes it home to a player and what is missing on the grenade proj that means it doesn't home towards that
my spiddey senses are telling me hltm and other ideas

try duping a bipd and swapping its hlmt to your grenade
if it works...it works
if it doesnt work then your property is in the hlmt...
either way ive released complete versions of both plugins, so it shouldnt be hard to find....
