I just hate the online community. Just play the goddamn game, people are so frickin opinionated for every little thing. It's just a frickin game.
It's all over the place, wherever you play online, especially with objective-based games. My most recent encounter with idiots was in a search and destroy game in Call of Duty 4 where I was the last man standing on my team and the other team had planted the bomb. So I sort of carefully wound my way up, and then I figured it was more or less impossible to win... The enemy would no doubt be camping the bomb from a distance, and as soon as I step out I would get shot. I mean the games on a timer, honestly I didn't see any way of winning so I just walked over, jumped down into prone and started to defuse. I mean hell, why not!
Bam, I'm dead the instant I step out. It's not as if I was totally oblivious to the fact that the enemy would be camping the bomb, yet "Kirkkit, you're so goddam stupid, jesus christ" is what my teammates say. Yeah well, go to hell fuckers, you're the ones who died and left me to do the work of an entire team. I mean I absolutely love gametypes like that, but my teammates, not so much. It's just a frickin game.
Sorry, wrong thread.

Ah shit, your wrong thread thing threw me off >_>

I mute everyone but my team, and if there's someone on my team who's singing or screaming (I get that every game), I'll mute them. That's usually where the trouble starts. They'll be trying to scream at me, saying "Don't take that weapon!" Or "Don't take the Banshee!", but I can't hear them.. So they'll kill me, or they'll kill me just because they know I muted them. When I run into these kinds of people, it can be irritating because I just want to play the damn game, but I encourage them to TK me so I can just ban them.Tural wrote:For the most part I get the opposite. ugh same stuff happens to me thats why im not relly into playing multiplayer games anymoreJK-47 wrote:I mute everyone but my team, and if there's someone on my team who's singing or screaming (I get that every game), I'll mute them. See this is why you don't care about little things just have fun, and if that means stealing someones banshee and coming around and plasma bombing your own team so be it.JK-47 wrote:I mute everyone but my team, and if there's someone on my team who's singing or screaming (I get that every game), I'll mute them. Srsly when i had halo 3 i was like a level 15 because if you just stop worrying about your rank and other peoples feelings and just do what makes you happy.

Not removing this 'till I get back. Leaving on [01/05/09]
COD4's muting system is less robust, so muting everyone in the game takes far longer than Halo 3. Then again, there's less screaming children too.JK-47 wrote:I mute everyone but my team, and if there's someone on my team who's singing or screaming (I get that every game), I'll mute them. I've never had to worry about muting anyone in COD4, actually.Tural wrote:COD4's muting system is less robust, so muting everyone in the game takes far longer than Halo 3. Then again, there's less screaming children too.

I've always found this only COD no Halo or vice versa thing pretty funny. It seems to be prevailant online... Not that I care about who plays what games its just I've rarely found cases of "I like and play both" on the e-scene.
I am the I like both, however I like Halo more
Those Macfarlane figures look orsm and almost tempting if it wasn't for the "screw Australia, people don't buy things there" common world business practice.

It is that time of the week. I got your weekly recap right here: If your Xbox is depressed, try playing seven days in a row like ItChYtOe did last week. It has a way of making you a bit giddy... We added 480 points of gamerscore. Good stuff! Who knew 31 achievements could be worth that much? Ok I knew that...
For the record, we played 4 new games over the last week. They were Assassin's Creed, DEAD RISING, Madden NFL 08, and NBA LIVE 08. They were all fun... in their own little ways. Oh, and I want to mention that ItChYtOe's favorite game last week was a serious FPS title... The Orange Box in fact... He played it on 5 of the days.
Another week finished... staring down the barrel of another one. Check back to find out what happens!

Kudos charts:
shadowkhas has: 15. DarkShallFall has: 70. ScottyGEE has: 60. Tural has: 25.

We got a school cancellation today. Who thought I would be crazy enough to go outside in my pajamas and take pictures of the snow.
