Lent

Post by GametagAeonFlux »

Title says it all...what did y'all give up for lent? I personally couldn't think of anything to really give up...but maybe someone here will have a good idea or something, I dunno. :P

Also, I highly doubt this would come up, but please keep all religious discussion out of this thread.

McDonalds.

Doesn't sound hard, right?

I have it daily.

Before anyone says anything, I weigh less than 10 stone.

Failure.

In school... And not really failure as just below my normal grades. To me, a B is failure.

I won't be giving up anything.
Instead, I'll just get into the routine of 20 press ups and 40 sit ups a day, adding 1 press up and 2 situps every time. I hope to continue this after lent.

Just repeat to yourself, "swimsuit season, swimsuit season." The biggest motivation of all for those :P

As for me... I guess you could say I'm giving up my weekends for baseball starting next weekend.

I've never heard of Lent.. I had to look it up >_>

I won't be giving up anything... I've already stopped eating junk food quite a while ago, stopped drinking soda... Giving up anything else would be unnecessary (to me at least).

Forgot about that. Not sure I'll do much this year. Putting up with daily routine is a pretty fair sacrifice..
