99% of schools have an administrative block on that.Senor_Grunt wrote:Start > Accessories > Command Prompt.

I'd highly discourage playing with school computers. I myself was recently suspended for four days and I will be charged with a fine of up to 1000 dollars for crashing my schools server. The server was tied into their phone systems and those went dead as well. had they turned me over to the police I could've faced charges of network trespassing, and attacking a business with malicious intent. Luckily I confessed and they didn't turn it over to the police, how I did it I wont say for obvious reasons but do take care when using systems that don't belong to you.
What I will give a tip is, most school computers run their user log in program through their internet, simply disconnect the ethernet cable, log in then re connect the cable. This will allow internet and let you right click, and use all properties options. (internet will still have administrative blocks)

Unfortunatly I leanred of this AFTER I left school. I made a bat file constantly makes folders with a random name and subfolders with random names. So if you leave it open for awhile, you have tousands and thousands of folders.
You do that to your friends account/memory card or soemthing
But now I can't find it to give to you

Everyone in a while I'll either go into the library, or get a school laptop and open command prompt (with the command.com /batch file method) and just mess with it. Nothing really serious, as I don't want to get caught doing anything serious. :X
Though, I have yet to try out the command for making a new administrative account. I think I'll try that next week, or something.
Also, Scotty, if you ever find that batch again, send it over email or something. I'll be sure to try it out.

School compys are amazingly phun to screw around with. I never really did anything worth mentioning, but the stupidity of the tech guys at my school sometimes amazes me. Last year when we were still on Win2000, they were teh surprized when I got to explorer by pressing Windows+F1 and getting to a shortcut to explorer in one of the help topics. My Comm Tech teacher was like "whoa u r teh l33t!!1 How u do taht??/" And this year I actually did some useful stuff, like creating shortcuts to notepad and stuff like that, because sometimes I want to type small documents into a tiny .txt file instead of a big friggin Word doc.
And then of course, there's simple proxies to get by our ghey websense filter.
