There have been lots of Halo2 mods out there and they have included the strange, elongated pink plasma weapon and took for granted that it was a sniper-type thing. Well My friend just gave me a link to this topic in a forum and I'm not sure if people have already seen this but here are some more Halo 2 Pics.

That looks more like a projectile weapon to me, there are no glowing bits...And don't try use the FRG to prove me wrong because that isn't a true energy weapon either.

heheheheh hell yes, i was hoping for this, i didnt want it to be a sniper, i always hoped it was a covenant battle rifle, and that's what i did on my halo 2 mod, i made it a Sniper\Machine gun hybrid, like hunter said.

Join the club, hydroxic. But yeah, at least it's not in my Halo 2 mod yet, so now I can avoid a major screw-up... At least I was right about the zoom bit...Anyone know what it fires?

Probably some form of projectile, but...
