hmmm. thats odd, because there should be a way to support it. I mean that is what the mac version of Halo is running with, so the engine should not be that different.

Finally got my high speed net back so I could dl it.
Some honest points (I'll add more after, I only rushed through camaign):
-Love the elites with energy swords -> easy to kill
-Hate the Jackals -> Fire in too long bursts
-Flood -> Just OK, nicely balanced
-Sentinel -> Could have been stronger
-Bitmaps -> Simply amazing, though its I thought they would be more thematic (such as very dark, or very light)
-Needler -> Love the new skin
-Vehicles -> You should have skinned the human vehicles, and changed the banshee skin from the one in redux
-MC -> First time I saw the biped and it looks like a duck (the helmet, no offence). The bitmap for the helmet's visor doesn't look right. Its cracked and it doesn't fit in.
-Adding more soon.

1. did you do it with a human weapon and not counting a RL?
2. I know, they are like that to make up for the elites and hunters being downgraded.
3. The flood was harder but it got annoying quick so it was toned down.
4. you only fight them at 4 key moments in the game. didnt spend to much time on them.
5. they were made to balance with and without dxt tweaker
7. the human ones are skinned. there just really clean. i like the banshee so i kept it.
8. not my biped and most people are not fond of it so thats why i used it. i wanted to make something not popular work. using the H2 or H3 one was a possibility but i dont do things for popularity contests.

philly, you can do whatever you want and take what ever ideas i had during ftw/redux and place them in the FTD mod of yours. if anyone says "you copied off pepsi" then ill kick them in the teeth. btw, no credit needed from you on anything taken or used from ftw/redux cause i respect you and your work. everyone borrow a little something from everything and i know your doing that and not biting the whole mod in general like others have before.

Thanks for the FoV bump, helps out those of us playing in widescreen. Any suggestions on how to use DXTweaker to force AA and AF? I think my 8800 GT can handle it.

theres the green lines, i see them alot to, just haven't bothered to take pictures because fraps for some reason freezes my computer, i dont think there is anything you can do about the green lines tho :l

There is a very unfurtionate work in halo now. H3 is so popular, there are only 2 servers in halo! Less n less ppl are using FTW as a result...

this is a bit off topic, but does anyone know where i can get more post filters for dxtweaker, i googled it but i found tutorials on how to edit the code for different effects, but thats not what im looking for, if anyone could point me to a place where i can download finished post filters, it would be of great help to me

that is odd. i am guessing you might want to run halo as an administrator.

That doesn`t really help. the game does not crash so often any more. Is there anywhere a buxfix or somthing like that to download??

Run as admin in Vista (that fixes most problems).
