In no particular order...

Detox - Helped me with everything. Modding, Programming, Girls ... life ... everything. <3 (Canada has Skittled flavored weed)

Tural - He's my arguing buddy. What can I say?

Veegie - I admire him for his photography goodness.

HeadShotMasta - Amazing mods and amazing guy. Germany ftw!

GameTag - He lives near me. We can relate.

Iron_Forge - Being the biggest douche on the forums.

Prey - Telling me how bad all of my apps are.

Anthony - For stealing my avatar.

Well its already bumped, and I wasn't here for when it was there before... but these are the people that I have grown to respect in my time of being here through modding Halo 2...In no particular order...

-chad - awesome person, and the guy who got me into skinning
-greennc -best skinner, even to his last unappreciated skin
-faisal - great modder, funny person, super team member (glad I asked stephen to join us

)
-iron_forge "invented modding", pretty funny guy, does everything well.
-tjc2k4 - Didn't really know him like I did with the others, but totally changed modding and did great things for everyone...Just a pity he got so hated =(
-Aequitas - he was so awesome with his skinning help and as a person too (pity he lived on AIM and I lived on MSN)
-xbox7887 crazy crazy h4x person, helped me and the modders greatly
-mr murder He has magnums of justice and is a constant source of modding inspiration...Possibly because we mod in such a similar style (even though he always beat me >=( ).

I couldn't fit Turk645 or neodos in the top 8, however doesn't stop me from respecting them as what i believe to be the best modders who are active

Also staff, but staff aren't people, so technically they can't be on the list...They are actually tireless robots who defend our forums against evil and injustice (think: power rangers supersize robots)...Hopefully saying that doesn't get me in trouble by the community, because I'm rebelling from the popular "staff sucks" stuff

I loved it when I was staff

But admins look more like That site doesn't permit linking, and is displaying... inappropriate images

Its the reason staff don't post pictures of themselves...If they claim they are, its just stolen from myspace

Hmm, well.

I don't really know all of you really well, so I can't really make a solid decision... But I'll do my best.

1. Don_Sforza (or is it Andras Ostrom?)- He's a well read, well movie'd creative genius who has the patience and tenacity of a saint. His machinima is great, hilarious, well filmed, etc., and he's the only one who can withstand my unbridled insanity

2. Shadowkhas- What can I say? He's a kind, but firm, admin on HaloDev that has time to guide and correct all the newbies.

3. Nick- His posts are as long as an essay, and just as well worded. You have a certain sense of authority...

4. Altimit 01 and Sword- Concerning Mac modding, their gosh-darned geniuses. Harbinger, Eschaton, and Sparkedit Mac FTW.

It's Jim_Raynor on HaloDev, Don Sforza is his XBL tag, and Andras Ostrom is his actual name.

I was lucky enough to even have some part in the Gladiator remake of his...hilarity and awesomeness at the same time.

I think Danke's post kinda sums it up a lot for me as well (it's OK by the way! <3). If I were to list every person I respect, it would be a long list. The people I respect the most are the people who helped me out a long time ago when I first joined. I remember Destroyer teaching me how to mod, SonicTag helping my skin, SunnySharma giving my modeling techniques, UltraMagnus and our talks, and TMM/Evolved helping me with my designs. I respect a lot of the modern people here as well. But to mention everyone would as I said before, take ages. I just <3 you all so much!

Yeah it's not as if the people that aren't my "top 8" are the only people I respect, there are many others as well.

I really don't like these sort of threads... Kinda makes people feel bad when they realize nobody likes them
