Glitch: How to drive an Anti-Air Wraith

Post by Eaton »

This tutorial will show you how to drive an Anti-Aircraft Artillery Wraith Tank.
If you would prefer a video tutorial, go here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6PQpXEn3Suk

This is what you will soon be able to pilot:
Image

This is how you do it:

1. Find an AA Wraith.
2. Take out the gunner if necessary.
3. Stand on the hatch (the door) of the Wraith and Melee it off.
4. Once you see the drivers head, position yourself so you do not see "Hold RB to board Wraith".
5. Holding RB, shoot the driver in the head until he dies, as once he does you will automatically enter the Wraith.
NOTE: If you leave the driver seat of the Wraith, it will instantly explode. You cannot get out without if blowing up. Enjoy it while you can.

End result:

Enjoy! Let me know if you liked it!:D

Oh my god....

******** ancient. So old, very very old.

I suggest that to know what is new and what is old, go to http://www.highimpacthalo.com/forum, and go to the Halo 3 Section. That has all the newest glitches and tricks.

Also, wrong section for this anyway. :)

Yes, it has been documented a few days after Halo 3 was released.

I have done this glitch so many times.

Personally, this vehicle is not that good. Lets say you got the anti-air wraith on The Ark, when you get Miranda Keyes ship down. Now, your at the phantom, after killing the ghosts, prowlers, and then the hunters. You fire shots at it, but it does not die. You keep firing, it still does not die. It flies off.

Now, replay that scenario, but instead, with a scorpion, not the wraith. Three shots on the phantom, and it dies.

That says something. :/

Perhaps whoever named it the "Anti-Air" wraith sucks at naming vehicles?

Who cares if the AA-Wraith sucks, its not like your going to use it in Multi. Its fun to use in campaign. I never knew about this, thanks. :D

Ok, now its getting ridiculous.

This glitch is almost older than the dirt I got four months ago.

Honestly, I guess some of you haven't gone to the website I gave. There is a way to have a infinite spartan laser on Halo, Clipping, Loading zone glitches (as in when you go to a certain spot, it loads a different bsp.). AND, they have Halo 3 Challenges, that could make you famous (not as in Movie Star famous, more or so a Halo 3 Famous person...) Hurry, the challenges are getting completed more than ever in the past few days.

Seriously, go over to that website. Bunches of fun, and besides, you can perhaps surprise your friends...:P

I personally am glad you posted this. I had read about this, tried it, and could not get it to work. Now that I have seen the video, I'm sure I can do it. :D

Maybe they considered it at one point and just decided against having it useable in the game.

Halo 1's Wraith had a Reticle, and unless you were to
mod, there was virtually no way to use it.

The wraith has a temporary reticle that I believe all un-pilotable vehicles have. If you get into the passenger turret, it doesn't have a reticle.
