Rambo
Just got home from seeing the new Rambo movie and it was good. Pretty graphic in some scenes and the movie was kind of short (only an hour and 30 minutes), but it was really good. So, here I am making a thread... discuss if you will.

He's referring to Rambo being a large muscular freak that runs threw the jungle terrorizing people.GametagAeonFlux wrote:Oh, ok. So what does that have to do with Rambo? If you came in expecting something other than a massive killing spree with little to no plot, that's your own fault.Cuda wrote:They already made a movie about a dinosaur running around in the jungle. It's called Jurassic Park.
kinda like a dinosaur.

I realize...but what's the first thing you think of when you hear the word "Rambo"? Most likely you'll think of some dude going around the jungle with an M60 killing people. You honestly shouldn't expect a Rambo movie to be anything more than just that.Dr.Cox wrote:He's referring to Rambo being a large muscular freak that runs threw the jungle terrorizing people.

I don't like how reviews don't take that into account.
It's crap like this that makes me stop reading reviews
"Stallone's previous film, Rocky Balboa (2006), was a highly personal and surprisingly touching film. But Rambo shows no such justification for its existence."
Apparently that person has no love for 1 hour and 30 minutes of killing, explosions, and weapons. Plot? Who needs it!
