Well now 1.1.3 can be jailbroken, and thanks to the nice people (???) it can be done all from installer. All you need is the newest installer update, a 1.1.2 jailbroken iTouch/Phone, and the latest BSD Subsytem you can use the newest firmware.
Bugs:
A few 3rd party apps are not ready for the 1.1.3 firmware and need to be fixed. Summerboard and Coustomize are examples.
If your using a phone there are a lot of set backs.
Sometimes Sync doesn't work, but they now have an installer package to fix that.

I tried it out a few days ago and didn't like it. the dock is hideous. I mean I know you could make your own to replace it but its just not worth it. no customize app and summerboard is working properly plus installer is glitchy. blah. I downgraded back to 1.1.2. That seems like the supreme jailbreak right now since you can SSH into your ipod and add/change files plus all applications are compatible.

I helped with it a little, when it came to porting apps over to the next firmware and some other technical stuff.Hawaiian Modder wrote:Well now 1.1.3 can be jailbroken, and thanks to the nice people (???) it can be done all from installer.
