Well now 1.1.3 can be jailbroken, and thanks to the nice people (???) it can be done all from installer. All you need is the newest installer update, a 1.1.2 jailbroken iTouch/Phone, and the latest BSD Subsytem you can use the newest firmware.

Bugs:
A few 3rd party apps are not ready for the 1.1.3 firmware and need to be fixed. Summerboard and Coustomize are examples.
If your using a phone there are a lot of set backs.
Sometimes Sync doesn't work, but they now have an installer package to fix that.

I tried it out a few days ago and didn't like it. the dock is hideous. I mean I know you could make your own to replace it but its just not worth it. no customize app and summerboard is working properly plus installer is glitchy. blah. I downgraded back to 1.1.2. That seems like the supreme jailbreak right now since you can SSH into your ipod and add/change files plus all applications are compatible.

Well it just takes a couple of times to get it to work.
I just restored my iTouch, no real big deal, then upgraded from there.
I have everything working exactly as it should, and with scp you can easily just change your theme back if you know what your doing.

I helped with it a little, when it came to porting apps over to the next firmware and some other technical stuff.

Yeah now that I have to expect a Recovery Mode screen after turning off my iTouch I've gone back to 1.1.2.
I'll wait a couple of weeks till its more stable and ready.

I'm on a jailbroken 1.1.1 and Apollo doesn't work. Also, TTR crashes if I try Making a new tune, making the tune is fine... it's when I click the iTunes library option, it just crashes.

Would being on 1.1.2 be better for me? If so, how?

It shouldn't be a problem whether or not your on 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. They work for both. try uninstalling then reinstalling. If that doesn't work I'd put your ipod into recovery mod to restore it then jailbreak it again. I'd suggest doing that before going to the 1.1.2 jailbreak firmware.
