A Few Questions

Post by swampyevilnut117 »

Well I have a few questions on how to do a few things in halo.

First off... How can I get warthog to have anti gravity hovering, like the ghost. I tried and all it did was make the warthog dig into the ground with the
front tires and slide alot.

Second, is it even possible to make the little blip on the motion sensor a different color? Like making the teammates come up as green and enemies, i dunno, white.

and finnally, how can i get just the proj of the sentinal beam without having to PMI the whole sentinal (which has never worked for me)

Just PMI the projectile ... go to c something, NOT c10 and go to projectile, and click the sentinel beam, reclusive save meta thenrebuild your map.

and for the blips, question i would think skinning.

get rid of the tire models (make the model so incredably small nobody can see it). then do some remodeling of the hog and BAM you have a hog that looks like it has antigravity.

so theres no way to get it to use antigravity like the ghoust though?
Thats kinda what i was asking, and for the motion sensor blips, i know it would involve skinning but i just dont even know if i could change its color.... oh wait, maybe in eschaton....

oh yeah there was a 4th question i had forgot it when i posted the topic,

i might just try this but, is it possible to PMI the Halo Ring [scen] from a10 into a MP map?

It should be.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

While you are on the topic, I thought I might as well ask the same question as you.

Why is it nearly impossible to PMI a sentinel or a flood? What files do you need to extract and add when rebuilding? And do you also need to extract their garb files (such as flood bit, sentinel broken fusilage)?

Open the map in Eshanton or HHT. Check its dependency's. Everything you will need for it to work is there listed.

you want me to get the list of files for you? It is much easier to get that on a mac.

Id say let the dude learn on trial and error. If he fails then help him further. You never learn if someone is constantly doing all the work for you.
