Try contributing your own talents to HM. Make mods, make forge maps, help people out, report offensive users, make tuts, make apps.

Rofl... Those 3 year old threads really get on my nerves!

Having those 3 rows of emblems really makes you kewl those one chirvon emblems after you try and obtain them ;p However, an achievement is an achievement regardless....

And something to note is that I never went out of my way to get any of what I have...With the exception of testing the serenity voting whilst we were discussing it way back when...I had already had voted on most of them at the time though.

Any other ideas on the flaming/water drop though? or are people thinking the other ideas were definate?

I did it for teh emblemz. Honestly I haven't done a whole lot more my emblems other than the graphics work. Though that has nothing to do with modding Halo..or anything Halo related whatsoever. Though I still like mine. Mostly because they fit well with my sig and avatar. :p But also because they're basically "nice guy" emblems. So it's cool to be thought of as a "nice guy". At least by some.

I usually notice who just want/chase an emblem rather then just earn it. Most of the time the person says stuff like "Why don't I have this emblem" or "What do I do to get this one" etc. They are just asking for the emblem, it's like if I were to go "Why ain't I a Staff member" or "Why don't I have more emblems". Whats really sad is these people actually get the emblem they wanted sooner or later by just chasing after it. I don't know anymore it just seems that emblems are losing their value if people are just going out and chasing them.

I_F intended the system to work in a similar way. People we bound to chase them, but that can have benefits. It encourages new users to try and strive to achieve something. You don't view it from the same angle since you were before the emblem system was implemented. A lot of yours were given because you earned them prior to the initial release. Though for a newer user, or modder, or young designer, they're something to try and earn. However, your point about them whining about not having an emblem is quite valid. Not having an emblem means that haven't done the right things to earn it. They should try and get better rather than whine.
