Bioshock isn't that hard once you get some good weapons, I'm playing it now to get the Seriously Good at this and Brass Balls achievements all you got to do is just constantly save every now and then and you are good to go, once you die just reload the save. Once you get ADAM use it on health upgrades. I had to restart the game three times when I was trying to get the Brass Balls achievement: once because I didn't know I needed the update first before playing, second time was because I thought putting it on "Off" was disabling the vita chambers (when I died I thought spawning in the vita chamber was normal because I never died when I played it on Easy), and I missed two audio diaries that you can only get in the begginning of the game (didn't get that achievement either).
Halo 3 with skulls on is a lot harder.

I had a crazy dream about playing a beta version of BioShock with multiplayer. It was pretty amazing.Veegie wrote:That's the problem though... you're done.Kirk wrote:Beat Bioshock
Great game. I see now why it was put as the game of the year. It doesn't have the fun value of, say, Assassin's Creed, but it bypasses it in many other places...
I mean... that's it.
You have no multiplayer.

I think Noobraska is a pretty cool state. eh grows corn and doesn't afraid of anythng.

So? I don't believe it was a requirement to have a multiplayer to make a game awesome.Veegie wrote:That's the problem though... you're done.Kirk wrote:Beat Bioshock

And, contrary to what i've read, I find myself wanting to play the game over again as soon as I finished it. I probably will, too.

"omg... its the same thing.... again..."

Not removing this 'till I get back. Leaving on [01/05/09]
I thought Assassin's Creed was 100% awesome from the start to beginning and the biggest gripe on that game from reviewers was it's repetitiveness. I also grew up with an internet connection that was the shittiest thing ever therefore I never played online multiplayer.
Long story short, I got to really love single player, and repeatedly playing the same thing over and over again. A lot. With more than one game.

Are you sure it isn't the whole... playing a new game for a week instead of playing the same game series that's been out for five years?... The whole 59 months of playing vs .25 months thing.Kirk wrote:And...
Anyway, Call of Duty 4's multiplayer seems to get better and better as I play it.
Have to admit, it leaves Halo 3 in the dust...
That's a very bias analogy. It's a matter of opinion.DrXThirst wrote:You saying Assassin's Creed is better than Halo 3 is like saying DrXThirst is richer than Bill Gates.
It'll never happen.

I just can't play Halo 3 anymore. It's not that I'm terrible, I just find myself staring at the screen waiting for the match to be over. CoD 4's excitement in multi player compared to Halo's is like comparing riding a roller coaster to reading a Charles Dickens book IMO.
