im using Maya 7.0 for my modeling, im only moving verts but the end product somehow added 600verts? lol
any ideas?

is there a set limit of verts that we know that we cannot exceed?DeadHamster wrote:You are remodeling right? Make sure you only move vertices, dont make any new ones or delete any old. And dont move faces, just to be safe. I did that once and got the index error, never did it again and never had another problem.

Yes, its actually a very simple formula. D=the number of verts originally in the model, H=the allowed number of verts
D=H.
Tadah. You cant add or subtract any or else HMT will reject it, because it will mess up the structure of the map. It is possible to inject these models without CE, you just need somebody to make a better program than HMT. It's useful, but could be improved on vast amounts.
