Indeed, those things are awesome. Tis' a shame, the price went up $50 (or was it $100?) For the lowest model. Still, for what you get, it's awesome for school and such. 2/4/8GB SSD, 512/1024mb RAM, GMA 900 Graphics Chipset, and a 900MHZ Processor.gtavcmaster100 wrote:I would much rather have a larger keyboard if I were to get an UMPC...thats why I'd much rather get an eeePC from ASUS.

No, but if they bump up the price $500 so that you can shave half a minute off your OS loading time, load various other things slightly faster, as well as better security, and only get around 60GB of storage, *** that.Veegie wrote:Solid state drives are crappy?...0m3g4Muff1n987 wrote:It looks ok but it's overpriced for crappy specs. I know it's a mobile pc, but... idk. I'd never have a use for it. Plus the controls look terrible. Add a touchscreen or something!
Before I jump out of my pants in excitement, show me an actual laptop that offers an 8800 in a notebook.FleetAdmiralBacon wrote:*bzrt* Wrong.0m3g4Muff1n987 wrote:You can't get a 8800 in a laptop. :/

I worked with someone who had one of these. It's pretty nice, but there are better (and above all, cheaper) alternatives. You can get a really nice UMPC for $900, rather than $2000-something.
