Would be cool if I had a use for it, but I can't imagine myself using it...someone may have a job that could benefit from it, so whatever.

That's pretty nifty. I don't really know when I'd use it other than when I'm bored, but pretty cool.

It looks ok but it's overpriced for crappy specs. I know it's a mobile pc, but... idk. I'd never have a use for it. Plus the controls look terrible. Add a touchscreen or something!

And you'd install Vista on that... why?

Its cool, not new, and somewhat pointless. For the same price of the most expensive model you could get a thin laptop that would have a Core 2 Duo and a great Graphics card (8800m).

You can't get a 8800 in a laptop. :/

It's pretty cool, and has some decent specifications. Way to much money, though. You could easily get a much nicer laptop for around the same price, with a larger screen and keyboard. Though, that is the novelty of Mobile PC's, they're very compact.

I would much rather have a larger keyboard if I were to get an UMPC...thats why I'd much rather get an eeePC from ASUS.

Indeed, those things are awesome. Tis' a shame, the price went up $50 (or was it $100?) For the lowest model. Still, for what you get, it's awesome for school and such. 2/4/8GB SSD, 512/1024mb RAM, GMA 900 Graphics Chipset, and a 900MHZ Processor.

No, but if they bump up the price $500 so that you can shave half a minute off your OS loading time, load various other things slightly faster, as well as better security, and only get around 60GB of storage, *** that.

Before I jump out of my pants in excitement, show me an actual laptop that offers an 8800 in a notebook.

I worked with someone who had one of these. It's pretty nice, but there are better (and above all, cheaper) alternatives. You can get a really nice UMPC for $900, rather than $2000-something.

Hm, while we're on the subject of the nvidia graphics cards, I have a quick question. The 8600GS has half as many stream processors as the GT, but it has faster core and shader processors as the GT, so which would really be better?
