Another note to self. Don't bother playing WiC campaign because apparently there's a bug with one of the "cutscenes" that makes the game forget it needs to render more frames. Basically, the game is still running (unit dialog, cursor, etc), but the frame from one of the "cutscenes" is all that is displayed.

And this is on the first mission too. How the fuck does this get past the testers?

Watched Spider-Man 3 a few days ago. Worst fucking movie I've seen this year. How could they do that? He cries, like what, 7 times in the movie. Boo-fucking-hoo, your girlfriend broke up with you. Get over it.

The 'villian', Harry, comes up with a completely sinister plan. He's gonna get Peter's girlfriend to break up with him and pretend that she's going out with him. How evil!

What is with all the gay shit? He gets a fucking emo haircut and acts like an 8th grader who's trying to rebel against all things. He literally repeats things back to other characters in a mocking voice.

Cheesy lines, lots of cheesy lines. "I feel like I've been lost but now...I'm home." Harry is painting a picture of pottery. Christ. There's dance scenes in it. What the hell is wrong with people? Sandman was the only positive thing about the movie (to me).

If there is a Spider-Man 4, Carnage better be in it and it better kick ass.

Well, me and some friends normally go shoot some bball at the church, and today, we played, yea, so then, after that, we go to a room, where we get something to drink, Gatoraid, what ever. So, I was kick ing the basketball off my shoe, and then, I it just hit wrong, barely tapped the window, busted it out, (in a perfect circle I might add.. ) And my brand new ball went into this big street, while it was raining. I run out there and get it, it's an inside ball, so it was pretty much destroyed. Ball, 40 Dollars. Window, 50 dollars. So then, we decide to give a friend a prank call, it was funny, until my friend, fell out of the chair from laughing, turned over a metal stool he was sitting on, and landed on a brand new Sony Erickson. $300.

So.. Total price paid today : $400. =/ But only 100 of it was my fault :p

Apparently I'm addicted to caffeine, so much so that if I don't have it I start having suicidal thoughts :\
Or it stops me from having suicidal thoughts when I do have it? idk it's annoying though.

Tural, would Major Nelson be the best place to get info from regarding the XBL-splosion that's been going on?

It's KIND OF starting to get on my nerves. >_> [/rant]

I'm surprised they even admitted there was a problem.

You shouldn't be. They aren't going to deny an issue as large as a 9-day problem with Xbox Live. They do care. It's not some big evil corporation that just wants to bathe in money while doing nothing for their customers, as many seem to think. So now, getting back to something relevant; yes, Major Nelson's site, specifically his quick Twitter updates on the side, will be the best source for current information.

On a side note, I played CoD4 online for several hours without incident last night, the first time I've been able to play in the last 72 hours.

Halo 2's Matchmaking just suddenly dropped me out of a game that was getting ready to start, and then wouldn't find anyone for a bit.
Then I got onto Campaign, and realized that I hate the endlessly spawning jackal snipers in Metropolis, where you get into the Gauss Hog. I managed to get to where the ghosts come, and the jackals stopped coming, so then they start appearing from the other side!

lawl I know it's not some big evil corporation. I'm just saying, Microsoft never normally admit there being problems. And so early as well, it took longer than 9-days for them to admit the 360's earlier model being defective, for example.

Also Halo 3 MM just went down for me woo!..

I'm pretty sure that's not as obvious as LIVE going down. They'd need to verify that kind of thing under a lot more conditions than this.

Yes. If you've noticed, any time Live has problems like this, they are usually addressed within hours. The reason for the length before acknowledgment and work on this was due to the holiday time period when it happened. The Live team is always on top of things, and really can't be fairly categorized with the rest of the company in terms of such.
