Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem

I just saw it.

My review:

Go fucking see it.

I was a little hesitant at first, but I heard amazing reviews from Yahoo users, including it getting #1 on Yahoo. I went and saw it, and oh man. I have never been more satisfied with a movie. It was the biggest relief after seeing the first one... And the ending was great... It's going along with the comics I believe, and that made me happy =]

There are some cheesy things that were stolen from the movie Aliens and Predator, like lines and character (in a way). They really weren't worried about appealing to audiences who don't like gore. It wasn't overly bad, but it was worse than most movies, which is perfect for a movie like AVP.

I give it 4 stars out of 5. Minus one star for little tads of cheesy parts. But it was pretty bad ass ^_^

Yeah, Predator, and Predator 2. Predator was a LOT better than the second one, btw Yeah, I highly recommend that you do that.

Went and saw it earlier today. Fucking badass. This movie was seriously awesome. Instead of that "Oh, let's have 3 predators and kill off two of them within ten minutes of their appearance" they have one single Predator who kills and kills and kills. The aliens in this movie are like the big bullies, killing humans and everything and the predator has to regulate them. And by regulate, I mean murder.

In one scene the Predator picks an Alien up by its tail, throws it around like its nothing, bashes it into the ground, proceeds to repeatedly punch it in the face and then finally, to top it off, curbstomps it's face into a mushy pulp.

This has everything you want. (Babies even die in it)

That's one thing that disturbed me, was that the Aliens were really...well.. sensitive. They are supposed to be real badass creatures with a tough armor exo-skeletons and such. But meh, didn't ruin the movie : )

Yeah I just came back from it. I've been a big fan of EVERY SINGLE ALIEN/PREDATOR MOVIE. Don't be mad at me for what I'm about to say.

My Review: My review doesn't reveal much, so I'll keep it big. But if you don't like to hear anything about the movie. Just don't read it.

The movie was predictable, terrible acting, about a total of 20 minutes of Alien vs Predator scenes. Other than that it was a couple of people trying to get laid by this chick, and escape the city at the same time. I was actually laughing throughout the whole movie with my friends. Every single time it went into the Predators vision, it would make this annoying noise that went "KERRRRCHAHHHH" After I heard that about 20 times, I was on the brink of screaming. The ending was so bad, just put it this way. Resident Evil 2...

I have to admit, the effects were bad ass, but come on... ONE Predator? Also, the aliens were way too weak, the humans were killing them with regular old weapons, like a pistol, yes a fucking pistol kills an alien. Over all the scenes where the Predator actually fought were good, other than that the whole movie sucked. Just a normal OMG ESCAPE THE TOWN! story.

My post may contain spoilers. But it's nothing huge.

I agree with some things in that, but the predator mask noise is the noise they used in the AVP2 game, which I thought was kinda cool. And yeah, the action scenes were funny, while badass. And yeah, the ending was kinda like Resident Evil 2, only I have a clue on what's going on due to my frantic AVP comic reading a few years back.
The weak aliens was a disappointment, I'll agree with you on that as well. But I failed to see a couple people trying to get laid by the girl the whole movie. Maybe Ricky at that one scene, but that's pretty much it.

I dunno, I personally thought that this AVP did more justice to the franchise than the first one, and I hope they get the next one nice. It should be a great movie if I'm correct on my idea of what they have planned for the third one.

What I hated, though, was how they tried to re-create a Ripley and Newt in this with the military girl and her daughter. Especially the line "Mommy, are the monsters gone?". That was a horrible line that should have never been put in the movie. Along with a couple other ones.

But, it was an awesome movie. I'm going to go see it again tomorrow probably.

Didn't like the fight scenes where you couldn't tell what was going on, didn't like some cheesey lines, didn't care too much for the ending.

At least now I know who ordered the sausage lovers.

I didn't like it, acting was terrible, plotline was mediocre. The special effects were brilliant, though and the final fight was badass. Overall, it wasn't a very good movie.

The government doesn't just lie to people.

That made me laugh, though, along with the entire theater.

It was freaky shit when the women whos water broke ending up giving birth to the aliens. It was also freaky when the Predalien was planting the eggs in her.

That was pretty cool. I'd never heard of a Predalien who does that, or aliens being born like that. It was nice to see a new idea =]

I didn't even know it was a Predalien until I came home and went to Wikipedia. I knew it looked different from all the aliens born from humans, I just didn't know there was such a thing either.
