Who's played it?

I have. I got mixed feelings. I've loved the burnout series, especially 3...That was just phenomenal...

This one? Not so much. I hate this "open world" stuff. Like seriously I think its gay. I found it gay when NFS did it and now I feel its even worse with burnout. Burnout to me is about quick in out crazy driving gameplay...But no, now I have to drive to each destination and then do it. I don't want that. Plus there's the whole "oooh its now open ended so find your own way there" races.

That rather big issue aside, I do still like the high speeds and crazyness. However it does seem less crazy than #3. I also was hoping for a next gen higher speed rush, with like the motion bluring and fish eye style speed. But that wasn't present...Unless I just didn't notice. Maybe I just hyped this game up as its the only racing game I like heaps

The graphics and detail is quite good though

Oh damn I am a huge Burnout fan...I need to stop play AC and go download it. Loved the series since the first one...

I played the demo a little. I didn't like it when I couldn't connect to the server and had to quit the game. It also didn't feel very burnoutish when my car would die after rear-ending normal cars.

I've been playing since Burnout 3 so I'll definitely give the demo a shot. I don't know if I'm gonna like the open endedness...it just doesn't seem like that works for racing games.

Agreed. Although, I've like every Burnout game so far, so I'm hoping this one will meet or exceed my expectations.
