Alright. If you see a block of ice on the bottom of one of the rain gutters of your house, dig the ice out first. Then start whacking the gutter near the bottom a lot, and work your way up the gutter whacking it hard until you can't reach higher. Then there'll be a pile of ice below the gutter.

Just tried this. Since the snow isn't good for snowballs, you can throw blocks of ice at your friends instead!

Yeah. The point is the make the ice come out still frozen so you can have a pile of ice to throw at people, not to unfreeze the gutters.

Well I just take snowballs, pour water and snow on them gradually until there as hard as a rock. Then me and my friends play IceBall, we were put skate helmets, or paintball helmets on and each get one ice ball. Chuck 'em, you have to find your Ice Ball but that just makes it better when you collect them all and your friends have none. :P

Well I'm in 9th, but rocks are a lot harder than ice, seeing as the ice balls break after a couple of hits, where rocks don't break.

Well, ice is colder. That's something.

The point is not to break each other's bones. I'm just saying, it's better than snow since the snow (over here at least) is too fluffy for snowballs. And you don't have to waste time making them, you just have a pile there all ready for you.

Slush balls are fun, they never really hurt and all they do is get you cold, wet and sometimes dirty.

Yeah throwing hard chunks of ice is all fun in games until one of your friends ends up in the hospital with a concussion.

Where do you people live to escape the wrath of global warming? It doesn't snow here until Febuary at least.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.

It usually starts to really snow near the end of December for me, but it's been snowing/raining for the past week, so we're getting a lot of snow :)
