Since your online, I'd like you to explain to me why this shouldn't be posted in the pro gamers section as this is on that topic....Otherwise, I believe it should be moved there.

Section or Topic? ;)

Because I just wanted peoples opinions about the article. Not pertaining to whether they are pro or not, Just to see if people think demonstration should be put back into the olympics.

If it does need to be moved sorry for the time wasted Scotty. =]

The Olympics has always been a demonstation of one's physical strength to me. Video games don't seem to fit into that equation. This pisses me off.

If they're going to have games, it can only be the classics.

Tetris, Mario, Pacman, Space Invaders, Astroids, etc.

No, there shouldn't be anything at all, there's not even a question about it. I know what you mean, but regardless, it's a firm no.

videogames just don't belong in the olympics, they should be left to LN parties and such where they belong.

Olympics = swimming, skiing, track, pole vaulting, etc.

i just don't see how videogames could fit in...

If it does, America might actually have a chance soon. Same with Japan. :P

Seriously though, Nevar. There's no valid argument saying it should be in the Olympics, so until then just NO!.

I agree, things like poker, gaming, and "professional eating" shouldn't be allowed... although America would win if the did.
