I need help...odd issue, dont know if you can help.

Ok, i am a noob, that might be an understatement. I have decided to start modding some levels. I read most of the tutorials and got hex editor. I then proceeded to try to do the examples of changing BG's pistol to shoot rockets, upon trying this i noticed that it didnt work. I then looked at the screenshots of how the original code was supposed to look and realized that mine looked nothing like that. I dont know what that means, i dont know what to do. Any help is much appreciated.

version of halo? it isnt demo
did that help? wait, should i uninstall demo, cause i have that installed as well as halo pc, but im getting the maps from halo pc folder and not halo trial folder.

well, dark shadow is trying to help. I am using hex editor. Following the tutorial as best i can. The problem is the first line of code on BG is the same as in the screenshots, but in the ss's the rest in that frame are all zero's. Mine isnt.

thanx for trying to help beef, i was looking at retail.....i think that is what your asking...if not it doesnt matter cause dark shadow helped me and it seemed to work now...odd that it didnt work the first time...i did the exact same thing. He says it is just cause he is lucky. Youll prolly hear from me again about some other problem later though. THanx guys.
