This is exactly what I'm talking about.
Until you can post without confusing other forum members... don't.
Call it intellectual prejudice, I don't care.

Sound raw and model raw is very different, and (Not speaking from an expert knowledge, just what I think I remember reading) all raw is referenced through the ugh tag in Halo 3, it is not exclusively related to sound. Again, not positive.

I have a question, feel free to yell at me but...
Do we have any type of raw extraction?(ex. Models, Sounds, Textures?)

we havent. but some people do...
I remember someone in this thread saying that he knows howto get the raw, but only internal.

edit: just added a metaeditor with own plugins to Toucan
its a little buggy (such as if the pointers are wrong and there is a overflow or something)
Image
there are some color effects with smooth transitions and a close function ("Geschlossen" means closed) to improve the clarity,

here's a part of the mode plugin ((C)by Tanasso ;))

Code: Select all

{ Region 104 76
	{ VertexGroup 0 16
		short IndexArrayLength(6)
		short VertexArrayLength(14)
	}
	byte VertexFormat(46)
}
[/size]
the layout is similar to the cs Plugins, but I invented (or implemented) the system before the cs plugins were :P . I think

in contrast to the metaeditor, the search function is working pretty well..

Image

Yet, I'm not sure whether I should add a standard "sorted by tagclass" function..
But this function should "replace" it in a nice way, so u have both at once (by searching for .mode or some other tagclass)

PS: and yes, I know that the style has to be changed (a bit).

People... Please stop advertising/showing off you're own applications.. Leave it for it's own thread, in this forum or even better the Pictures forum... Also talking about plug-in structures.. Just don't...

This is a research thread. So feel free to post your research. This topic has already become swamped with enough crap.. Pages in-fact...

The apps contribute to the further research for H3 modding so I dont see where your argument stands???, numerous moderators have posted in this topic and none have seen a problem with it, so be chill and stop trying to police the topic.

So?, Thats like me posting a sig and saying no one and rate it. forum rules shouldn't added by the authors of the topics.

That was directed to meat.

It's his topic, he doesn't want it to go more off topic than it already is and people posting pictures of their own app's without actually contributing any of their research is taking the topic more off topic, now I'm taking it off topic so I'm gonna stop posting.

But no-one would do that now would they?.. As it then makes said topic completely pointless... It doesn't with this one..

I don't mind people posting applications that do something new/open up doors.. I mean if someone posted a TagRef/Reflexive/etc meta scanner: great. It hasn't been done yet and is a useful research tool. But posting previews of applications, in a thread that has no place for them, is what I'm not supporting.. There's also lots of plug-in structures flying around. Fine. But keep it out of this thread unless your just posting a meta layout.. because that is research... Again, what this topic is all about..

Thank you Lux..

It's Prey's topic.
If what he requests doesn't violate rules of the forum, it is fine.
It is his choice what kind of discussion he wants to target.

Well, it was going back on topic, until you posted. So congratulations on your contribution to the off-topicness of it. Seems awfully hypocritical that you'd make such an ignorant post.
