could someone help me with directx

ok i dont got directx i know its a free download for ppl with windowsxp+
but i have no clue where to go, so i cant play any good graphic games or model h2 wepons or use some option in entity so could someone give me a link?

search google for directx 9.0 Im pretty sure is the latest version.

yea i did that that's why i came here im really frustrated just wondering if someone who remembers where they got it could give me the link because everytime i find some directx software it doesnt work

that was almost exactly what i was looking for i didnt have directx and other ones i tried werent full bla bla bla but
all i need now is directx3dand i know my computer can ahve it because i ahd it b4 but there was a virus and i had to reconfigure my pc to the day i got it so if anyone ahs a link i would vryyyyy apriciate it

there you go. Try the first link and you should be good. The second link has developer's stuff with it plus the directx
