Quite the contrary, there was a pretty awesome "upgrade" to the language that was never, ever present in the previous game in anyway, but its not really a change that would break a decompiler if you did it based on sol's mechanics.

And I don't think you'll be getting a bsp viewer before content resigning is possible.

Yeah it was mostly a joke(I know, hard to tell over the internet), but hopefully that meant resigning will be soon, and not that it'll be extremely difficult to make a bsp viewer.

I haven't been following any of this because I don't have any type of modded 360, but are we expecting to see shader mods in the future like the start of Halo 2's modding. *shiver*

Nah the maps are being figured out pretty quickly, by the time we can actually play our modded maps it you should be able to create a decent mod.

So we COULD play modded maps...
But we have to wait until the Xbox 360 Hackers figuered out to start unsigned Code.
I mean, for Dashboards and to play H3 from the HDD

no you could just wait till the map pack comes out, then pray to god that some releases how to sign the container files. then its just the matter of signing the maps. I hate encryptions

once the new maps are moddable you can garentee ill be there with everyone else trying to figure out forge. :P then i might consider getting a second 360 for modding disk maps.

Well, um, innovation is no reason to create something so unappealing.

It's not professional looking. It looks like it was made by a child who likes pretty colors. An application being developed for wide use should not have such an absurd layout. It's like SPPF, only worse.

Yay, I'm not the only one who hates the UI of that thing.
