if you dont know what garry's mod is, it is a game that allows you to do ANYTHING

garry's mod is the best thing that has happend in a long, time

Wait, for gmod do I need CSS, HLDM and HL2 cause I only have HL2.

No, but you won't get CSS and HLDM content without them.
I'd buy them. They're cheap, you know.

you dpmt exactly need the games you need the scource sdk base, but you need to buy one of those games to gety the sdk base... it allows you to play all sorts of games/mods created be mod teams, its quite the shizzzz, i do play gary's mod, and it is sooo ubar fun
