I strongly disagree. And I'm not a noob. So you can take that logic and shove it.
Do you even know the definition of joiner friendly? Its not a mod you can just see but not use in servers without the mod, its a functional mod that will work for people without the mod that the server has. And plain as day, it did NOT work. or Try hosting a game, and watch people exeption there way into your server for 4 seconds. I bet that you couldn't get into those dropships and fly them on that server you were playing, because the server does not have that mod.

they are 100% joiner friendly. this meaning you can have these modded maps in your stock halo maps directory with PMI work in them and enter any server via the lobby. no one said anything about modding server side. did i? did i say anything about being able to drive the vehicles? no to both. stop being so gung-ho on putting people down or making yourself like a fountain of knowledge. it looks childish and noobish.
now im simply going to echo what i said before and this time READ what im saying and stop assuming you know what im doing without asking.
"mind you that the things im doing will be 100% capatable with any server (meaning joiner friendly) across the board. "
compatable with any server. i didnt say modding server side. nor did i say you could fly them. i said this..
"on DI there are now covie dropships and pelicans floating in the air. i tried to make them active scenery, but as soon as they spawn the server throws a exception error in lobby servers. not cool so i had to settle for this effect. "
did i once say you can drive them? or fly them? i said they were scenery. read before you type and ask before assuming so youll save yourself some embarrassment next time.

You're getting worked up over a one liner post. Your missing it here. Joiner friendly mods are mods that people can join your server without, and see the mods. Like cliff mods.
But okay then, its not up to me what goes on in that mind of yours.
Well forgive me for assuming vehicles were for driving..
Whats the point of having some big dropship just floating there? That's a bit pointless.
dude, seriously, grow up._FC_Homies wrote:Excuuse me? I'm not the one being ignorant or noobish here.pepsi711 wrote:_FC_Homies wrote:I strongly disagree. And I'm not a noob. So you can take that logic and shove it.

short and simple update..
im making a directors cut of redux instead. redux was made to honor halo and not take away from the game and what made it a classic and as i said a few weeks back im going to add now everything i wanted to when making redux but left out cause i didnt want to loose the original feel of redux. dont expect alot of updates cause i dont want to give alot away like i did with redux but this is going to be redux to the next level.
it will include a new custom ui. bsp's converted to scenery on MP maps playable via the lobby and a new look on how the game is presented to you in gameplay. ive done alot of reading this past week and sucked it all in and now its time to spit something out for it.
ill give you one pic thoe..
heres master chief in the new redux. and its simply going to be ..
"halo redux - directors edition"

The mod looks really nice, a shame my computer won't be able to handle it.
For anybody still wondering where FTD has gone, here it is.
