this is what makes me hate them the ones at my school are like my life is so bad and really its not and my is worse and i don't go cry like a **** or where tight pants cut my wrists
their copy cats most of them their older siblings did it so they do it and its stupid if your like sucks dress in your genders clothes and act like your life doesn't suck and have some fun and make it better
so mostly what makes me hate them is their life sucks because they make it that way and Halloween is a once a year excuse to look ridiculous not a year round thing
I have depressional problems patchesreuch, but it doesn't give me the urge to wear girl pants or cut my wrists. Actually, knowing other depressed people and attention getters, actual depressed people don't cut their wrists cause it draws attention, which, they don't want. Attention getters cut their wrists.
And crying is a human emotion. Everyone does it, regardless of whether it's cool or not, or want to admit you do it.

Like I said, its just a fashion. My style of clothes has no effect at all on my feelings really.

Wrong kind of attention..
People who cut themselves for attention want sympathy. People wearing those kinds of clothes just want to be looked at, and want to be different.
Or, they just like the clothes.

He's probably the furthest from a stereotypical goth you could get. He is the unbelievably biggest ladies' man, and he's a fun guy to be around.
I know someone almost like that.

If you don't want to be treated differently, don't dress so differently.

I'm sorry Geo but thats the most fucked up logic I've heard.

I mean what if you like to dress one way, should you get harassed for dressing that way? I think not.

I could just as easily harass you for the way you dress, and harass you for the way you look, but thats not fair.

They are treated a bit more extreme than "differently".

People should just leave them alone.

They should. My brothers used to fuck with people like that only because they were assholes. When they went to school, the kids who dressed like that were cock suckers (not like XBC, talking about heavy gothic and 'emo' kids).

They still do that, and I don't blame them. I'm not talking about every kid, just the ones that do stupid shit. I see them all the time around the place I live acting like morons. Plus, on top of that they wear stupid clothes and do whatever to fit into that group.

If you don't want to get made fun of for wearing that shit, then don't wear it. Christ, if its that important to you to wear those then don't cry about it when people make fun of you. No one is forcing you to wear that or do those things. Yeah, people should be more considerate but oh well. Where I live the majority of those kids are complete fucking retards. I realize thats not the same elsewhere, but damn.

I don't mess with those kids unless they're doing something stupid. Then they're fair game, same goes for anyone else. They're just easier targets because they wear different things. It's so damn cool now to look like straight up g's that you can't target people for that. Cause of course, they're cool and also, if they're a person of color its racist. Can't forget that.

Kinda got off topic there, but people like that piss me off. XBC, you seem like a cool guy, the style fits you too. At least some of it appears to. If I saw you, I would never make fun of you or say any shit about you. It's those other cock suckers that bring that upon themselves and then bitch about it.

Oh, and Fonzie's such a fucking goth.

The main people in the UK who complain about goths and emos and skin heads are Chavs..you could almost call them preps or what ever you lot call them but for the most part all they do is walk about like the own the world abuse anyone they feel like and generaly cause quite alot of trouble.

I wake up, I put clothes on to keep me warm and not naked. My personality alone is enough to make me unique from everyone else.

I have nothing against ANYONES personality, but Goths look like idiots, in my opinion.

Say what you want, I don't care... it's my opinion.

Whilst I don't think they should be abused or harassed, if they were that bothered, they'd stop trying to be different and would just dress 'normally'.

I stand by what I said. If you want to look so different, expect to be treated differently.

I personaly would rather be my self than a factory form sheeple that looks like some plastic manikin.
if everyone dressed the same the world would be a much more boring place.

That's why there are hundreds of thousands, if not millions of combinations of 'normal' clothing items.

It's not like there's one pair of jeans in the world, and one shirt.

The people that do choose to dress differently and all that jazz argue when people say "it's just a phase" but you rarely see middle aged or elderely 'goths' so it clearly is a phase, that they do evenrtually grow out of... or they find a mirror.

I've never spoken to XBC, so I won't judge... just like I would never judge a goth I met on the street.

If you feel you have to dress dramatically differently to stand out from your peers, you must be really insecure with yourself... or you just want attention.

He said you rarely see them, not that they don't exist. Skin heads and bikers are entirely different from goths.

I wouldn't say couldn't. There are quite a few elderly bikers around, so warlord's argument still held water. Not that goths and bikers are the same, but a biker is roughly an elder version of a goth anyway.

How?

Do you mean in why they dress the way they do? Or are you trying to say that goths evolve into bikers later in life?

Just wondering.

Ugh, once again it's just a fashion.
And it's nothing to be scared of. If they have attitude problems it's their fault, not the clothes...
