Yes, I know. I never said that it didn't. I said that the skin modifier is not used for UVW mapping or texture editing.

ryder has cleared it from beta stage also.

raring it and getting it ready for release now.

The skin modifier is for rigging bipeds.

From my post a few days ago.
The skin modifier is used for rigging, not UVW mapping or texture editing.

those textures *sniffle* theyre just so beautiful *sniffle* i just want to cry!! lol no, but sick textures anyway they look better then my h2v graphics lol my comp has 4 gb ram when it only needs 1 gb to run h2 and IT STILL WANTS MORE!!!(comp is possesed, it walks into my room at night and gives me an evil point with an eye twitch like the evil monkey from FG, i have nightmares about the microsoft works helper; it pulls out a machette every time i look away....) also my graphics card cant handle h2 so it appears that the cmt maps, h2 conversions, and these ones here are far more detailed. intensity.....

Ram doesn't mainly affect game fps, it's usually your gfx card.

it kinda does, i can see 512mb ram to compensate for a bad gfx card.

so as you know im going back into redux and doing some PMI work. Nothing big to make the maps cluttered but you know.. so redux isnt a "skin"mod.. :wink:

mind you that the things im doing will be 100% capatable with any server (meaning joiner friendly) across the board. i would update in the redux thread but theres no sense spamming it when that what this section is for. i recycle in real life so im recycling this thread as well.

so what i have i got for you so far?

nothing to big i must say but im really happy how these things turned out. first ill give you the new damnation and deathisland.

on DI there are now covie dropships and pelicans floating in the air. i tried to make them active scenery, but as soon as they spawn the server throws a exception error in lobby servers. not cool so i had to settle for this effect.

on DN i simply added some waterfall mist to the boring waterfall there and redid the lighting some to compliment it. it really does have a better feel to the map now.

both maps as well all in the future will contain the MC you see in thoes screens. right now im halfway through gephy and will be heading into chillout i think.

I don't know where you got the idea that PMI mods joiner friendly, because they aren't.
